Time & Weather: We hiked this trail in mid February and started hiking around 9am. The weather was crisp at 50 degrees but you warm up quickly on the initial ascent. There is little shade on this hike so wear sunscreen.
Gear: We wore 1-2 layers for warmth, solid hiking boots, hat & sunglasses. Hiking poles can aid the descent at the end.
Trail Navigation: The trail is easy to follow, keep an eye out for cairns and footprints to ensure you’re on the path.
Water & Food: We drank about a liter each, but in the warmer months you should definitely bring extra water. There is no water source along the trail. We at a few snacks but the hike only takes about 90 minutes.
